Our Scientific vision of energy sources

For selected heavy-fuel-oil applications, our proprietary cavitation-based systems can generate water-in-oil emulsions inline without additional chemical additives. For diesel applications, we combine the similar cavitation principles with proprietary additive packages to produce storage-stable water-in-diesel emulsions. Our emulsified marine fuel solutions are designed to help ship operators reduce emissions and fuel consumption while maintaining reliable performance at sea. By introducing controlled amounts of water into the fuel, the technology promotes cleaner combustion and can support lower exhaust-gas pollutants compared with conventional operation.

  • In pilot projects and <studies on water-in-fuel emulsions, marine engines have shown potential single-digit fuel-consumption reductions under defined operating conditions.

  • Cleaner combustion can reduce deposit formation, which may support lower wear and optimized maintenance schedules in suitable applications.

  • When used with fuels that already meet sulphur and quality specifications, our technology can be part of a broader strategy to comply with IMO / MARPOL Annex VI emission requirements.
